Nominations deadline nears for Sport Pembrokeshire 2023 awards
Do you know a team or individual in Pembrokeshire which achieved amazing sporting success last year? Or a dedicated coach or volunteer in grassroots sport who deserves recognition?
Then get your nominations in for the Sport Pembrokeshire 2023 awards!
The deadline is Sunday 15
th October and there are 13 categories.
“We’ve received lots of fantastic nominations already, but we’d love to receive even more – so please do submit your nominations before the deadline of October 15
th,” said Cllr Rhys Sinnett, Cabinet Member for Residents’ Services.
“The awards are a great opportunity to celebrate sporting success, and show your appreciation for all the hard-working people in grass-roots sport.”
For the first time this year, members of the public are invited to submit a nomination for the Lifetime Achievement Award.
The Sport Pembrokeshire Awards are sponsored by Valero, Pure West Radio, Folly Farm and the Western Telegraph.
The gala awards ceremony will take place at Folly Farm on Friday, 24
th November 2023.

- Coach of the Year
- Female Sporting Achievement
- Male Sporting Achievement
- Boys (U16) Sporting Achievement
- Girls (U16) Sporting Achievement
- Disability Sport Award
- Junior (U16) Disability Sport Award
- Unsung Hero
- Club Organiser of the Year
- Team Achievement of the Year
- Junior (U16) Team Achievement of the Year
- Young Volunteer of the Year
- Club of the Year
- Lifetime Achievement
